You support controlled working conditions and environmentally friendly production from the cotton field to the finished product. Prohibition of genetically modified seeds and chemical substances harmful to humans and the environment, etc. – the supply chain is checked annually for certification, precisely documented and the GOTS certificate is only awarded if all requirements are met.

Not necessarily, because through sustainable production, the textiles are more durable and higher quality. Customers appreciate this quality, which shows in longer durability and high wearing comfort. The price is higher due to controlled cultivation and production conditions, but the durability of the textiles also increases, which balances out the price difference in the long term.

In GOTS-certified textiles, only natural fibres such as cotton, silk and wool from organic cultivation may be used. The use of genetically modified seeds or dangerous chemicals is prohibited. Fair working conditions are also monitored. The processing of cotton into textiles must be done without chemical substances that are harmful to human health and the environment. Recycled fibres from synthetic fibres are only allowed in certain proportions. Certification takes place annually and checks the entire supply chain from cotton cultivation to the finished product.
