With GOTS products you not only choose sustainable materials but also fair working conditions in textile production and durable premium products. You support controlled labour standards and eco-friendly production from cotton field to finished garment. Genetically modified seeds and harmful chemicals are strictly prohibited. The supply chain is audited annually, fully documented and the GOTS certificate is only granted if all requirements are met.

Not necessarily. Due to sustainable production, textiles are more durable and of higher quality. Customers value this quality, which is reflected in longer product lifespans and excellent wearing comfort. While the price is higher because of controlled farming and production conditions, the increased durability balances out the difference in the long term.

GOTS-certified textiles may only use natural fibres such as cotton, silk and wool from organic farming. The use of genetically modified seeds or harmful chemicals is prohibited. Fair working conditions are also monitored. Processing cotton into textiles must exclude substances that are hazardous to human health or the environment. Recycled synthetic fibres are only permitted in limited proportions. Certification is renewed annually and audits the entire supply chain from cotton cultivation to the finished product.
